Brooks Gordon

Managing Director TrialTech Medical

Brooks brings over 30 years of strategic and growth-centric business experience to TrialTech, having held senior-level positions in financial services, pharmaceuticals, consumer packaged goods, and, most recently, the molecular lab industry. Brooks is a business executive with experience transforming business units across highly competitive markets through strategic positioning, operational improvements, and cross-business collaborations.

Brooks brings over 30 years of strategic and growth-centric business experience to TrialTech, having held senior-level positions in financial services, pharmaceuticals, consumer packaged goods, and, most recently, the molecular lab industry. Brooks is a business executive with experience transforming business units across highly competitive markets through strategic positioning, operational improvements, and cross-business collaborations.

Brooks made a career transition into the pharmaceutical industry for very personal reasons. He spent a good portion of his early career in the financial sector, and about 16 years ago, after two of his cousins passed tragically from opiate overdoses, he decided that he wanted to use his knowledge and his skills to do something that contributed to saving lives. So, mid-career, he entered the pharmaceutical world in various roles at several companies that developed and delivered lifesaving products. He continued to take on more challenging roles in implementing strategies to improve efficiencies in clinical development programs. Brooks holds a master’s degree in business from Boston College and a BS in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco. He and his family reside in Virginia. 

Rachel Goodman

Director of Human Resources

Brooks is a business executive with experience transforming business units across highly competitive markets through strategic positioning, operational improvements, and cross-business collaborations.

Rachel Goodman joined Scarritt Group in January 2021, bringing with her over 15 years of experience in training & development and leadership. Having worked in both the non and for-profit sectors, Rachel’s experience with organizational development andleadership training is vast and refined. Within these diverse organizations, she has had the privilege to serve in several positions including HR Director, Program Director, and Lead Mentor/Trainer.

Rachel has earned multiple degrees, including a Bachelor Degree in Political Science from Francis Marion University, a Master of Business Administration from Southern Illinois University, a Master of Science in Elementary Education from Mercy College, and a Master of Arts in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary.

Additionally, Rachel has earned several certifications including the Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), a NYC Teacher Certification, and a CrucialConversation Certification.

Rachel’s dedication to traditional and agile management supportsthe speed and agility by which she masters the complex cross-functional partnerships required with an HR Business Partner and key stakeholders within an organization. These relationships and paths of communication ultimately serve to support the commitment to excellence and meeting the needs of our clients.

Alec Gasperian

Director of Patient Engagement

Alec Gasperian joined TrialTech Medical soon after its inception in late 2018 as a clinical screening coordinator. Over the course of a year, he advanced to managing the screening team and then to directing the company’s operations, driven by his passion for bringing equity to the clinical trial space.

Over the course of a year, he advanced to managing the screening team and then to directing the company’s operations, driven by his passion for bringing equity to the clinical trial space.

Alec was critical in facilitating the company’s acquisition by, and exponential growth with the Scarritt Group, overseeing TrialTech’s operations as the company launched from domestic to global patient recruitment under their leadership. He has since helped to expand Scarritt’s clinical recruitment arm by initializing patient concierge and patient reimbursement services, further streamlining the patient journey from potential subject to enrolled participant – delivered with the “white glove“ hallmark of the Scarritt Group Companies.
Alec obtained his Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego where he minored in Biology and went on to receive a Master of Science in Applied Cognition and Neuroscience from UT Dallas. Alec’s interest in clinical trials began while working on the US Military’s DARPA project: RAM (Restoring Active Memory) as a member of the data analytics team at UCLA’s Lab of Neuromodulation and Neuroimaging and flourished into a passion for providing equitable access to clincal trials during his time working on the same DARPA project as a member of the clinical research team at UT Southwestern’s Texas Computational Memory Lab.
In his free time, Alec can be found enjoying the outdoors while camping, hunting, or fishing with his dog, Ella, in tow.

Social media Trackers builds social media infrastructures for organizations that can rapidly increase ROI and sales conversions, by sculpting their social data into a trackable, scalable and profitable conversion system.

Mark has developed content marketing strategies across all social platforms and industries for some of the most recognized brand names — in order to help enhance sales and influence through targeted social content, engagement & optimization.

Mark’s previous clients include Propel – Star Wars, Facebook, Sonderpods, VMA, Healbe, Kent Displays, Gecko Hawaii, The Wiseman Group — and many more. His strategies and content have appeared in Wired, Forbes, and the Independent Business Times.

Mark is the Chief Marketing Officer for Gecko Hawaii and was previously the Director of Digital Content and Social Media for The Wiseman Group. He has been a producer of social strategy for the past 13 years, as well as a producer of online content, video production, and video/social technology for over 12 years. His background includes social media strategy, analytics, digital Marketing strategy and development, project management, producing UI for interactive video experiences, video content, directing, editing, writing, and project management.

Mark has been nominated for a Primetime Interactive Media Emmy Award for leading the innovative team that developed the ‘Glee Super-Fan Experience’ — a new integration of video and social media. The experience lived on Fox.com and had a “buddy app” on Facebook, which received over 24 Million shares within 2 days of launch.

Since 2010, Mark has produced social data infrastructure systems, apps, digital marketing strategy and strategic video content for cable networks, technologies, automobiles, authors, independent entrepreneurs and more. The list includes: Cisco, Zynga, CBS, Fox, ABC, NBC, MTV, and Audi to name a few. Mark helped build a social video campaign for Audi, which was nominated for the IAB MIXX Award.

Mark holds a B.A. in Directing and Creative Writing from the University of Arizona and is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Adrienne Williams

President & CEO

Adrienne Williams is Founder, CEO and President of Scarritt Group Inc., Source 360 Inc., and Scarritt China, companies that support clinical research organizations and pharmaceutical companies through Investigator Meetings, Patient Concierge Services, Patient Recruitment, Virtual Site Initiation Visits, and Patient Education Videos.

Juan Pablo Guzman MD MSc is a physician, clinical pharmacologist and clinical epidemiologist with over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.  During this time, Dr. Guzman has been responsible for the design and execution of global clinical development programs across various therapeutic areas including CNS, Immunology, GI, Oncology, Pain and Inflammation. His responsibilities included overseeing the regulatory submissions from INDs to NDAs as well as supporting label extensions and launch/post-launch initiatives. His areas of special interest include difficult to recruit clinical studies, leveraging new technologies to improve clinical study recruitment and retention, and helping advance clinical research in Latin America. Dr. Guzman has held leadership positions at Merck, Pfizer, UCB, Takeda, Otsuka and Novartis.
